Through our actions to help the visually impaired community, funding allows those with visual needs to grow more confident and live independent lives.
This year will be the 13th Bookin’ for Lookin’ Race event and we want you to be a part of it!
Our traditional 5k is a 3.1 mile race course that starts at Council Rock High School North, loops through scenic Tyler State Park (including a couple hills) before finishing fast on a flat track back at the high school. Perfect for runners, walkers and the community!
The 10k option is returning for runners who prefer a longer course. This 6.2 mi race will start with the 5k course, but will continue through the park for another three miles before finishing back at the high school track. The 10k is scheduled to start about 15 minutes before the 5k race to allow runners in training an unencumbered start to the race route.
When you are done, grab some snacks, enjoy some music and take pictures in our photo area to celebrate your success!
Registration fee includes a race shirt. Customized travel mugs are awarded for top finishers in each age category.
All proceeds from our race benefit the Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. This is an amazing organization that helps people in Bucks County receive essential services including specialized eye exams, rehabilitation skills and daily support.
Mark your calendar, let your friends know and register soon for this fun event for a great cause!
