Q. When is the race?

A. The race is on, Sunday, April 27, 2025

Q. What time is the race?

A. The 10k race starts at 8:30 am. The 5k race will start at 8:35 am.  All runners should arrive no later than 8:00 am

Q. Where is the race being held?

A. The race will begin and finish at Council Rock High School North.

Q. When does registration open?

A. Race registration is expected to open on December 2024. Check back for official opening date

Q. How much does it cost to register for the race?

A. Registration fees are $35.00 prior to the event and $40.00 on race day. Note: Runners who sign up for the Bucks 5K series receive a discounted rate.

Q. What do I get for my registration fee?

A. All participants receive a race bib and free food (bagels, fruit, cookies) at the event.

Q. When can I pick up my bib?

A. You have two options to pick up your bib:

  • the day of the race between 7:15 – 8:15 am
  • in advance on Saturday April 26 from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon at the Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired 400 Freedom Dr, Newtown, PA 18940

Q. Will there be awards?

A. Yes! Special award medals will be given out during an awards ceremony immediately following the race. Awards include:
  • Top three finishers in each age category – male/female
  • Top overall time – male/female
  • Top masters – male/female

Q. How are winners’ finishing times calculated?

A. Bookin’ 4 Lookin’ uses chip times associated with each runner’s bib to determine winners in each category and assign awards.
Note: Bucks 5K Series uses clock time to determine placement. If you have any questions about timing for the Bucks 5k Series please email director@bucks5kseries.com

Frequently Asked Questions - Race Day

Q. Where can I park?

A. There is plenty of parking around the perimeter of the high school. We ask that all participants arrive no later than 8:00 am if you need to park your vehicle on school grounds.

Q. Will there be water stations at the race?

A. Yes, water stations will be available at the half way point and at the finish of the race.

Q. Will bathroom facilities be available?

A. Port-a-potties will be available for public use.

Q. Can my dog run or walk with me?

A. Service dogs are welcome, but all other dogs are not permitted to race
